How a job works
Three paths — any ADU, attached, or detached. English first, then Spanish.
How an ADU job works
We keep it simple: you call, we look at the property, we tell you what’s possible, then we handle coordination through finish.
- Call and walk the lot — You call (760) 562-2773. We meet on site, look at the house, yard, utilities, and access, and talk through what you want — extra living space, family, or rental.
- What’s allowed and what it costs — We check what the lot can take (detached, attached, or conversion), size limits, setbacks, and a realistic budget. You get a clear picture before plans start.
- Plans and permit package — We put together the drawings and documents the city or county needs. You review the layout and finishes before anything is submitted.
- Permits — We submit and work the comments with the local building department. Work does not start until the permit is in hand.
- Build — Site work, foundation, framing, utilities, and finish. You know who is on the job and what happens next. Inspections happen at the required stages.
- Final inspection and handoff — After the last inspection and certificate of occupancy, we walk the unit with you and close out the job.

- Planos y paquete de permisos — Preparamos los planos y documentos que pide la ciudad o el condado. Usted revisa la distribución y los acabados antes de presentar nada.
- Permisos — Presentamos el trámite y atendemos las observaciones del departamento de construcción. La obra no comienza hasta tener el permiso en mano.
- Construcción — Trabajo de sitio, cimentación, estructura, instalaciones y acabados. Usted sabe quién está en la obra y qué sigue. Las inspecciones se hacen en las etapas que marca el reglamento.
- Inspección final y entrega — Después de la última inspección y del certificado de ocupación, recorremos la unidad con usted y cerramos el trabajo.

How an attached ADU job works
An attached ADU shares a wall or connects to the main house. Same process as any job we take: call, walk the property, then coordination through finish.
- Call and walk the connection — You call (760) 562-2773. We meet on site and look at where the unit would attach — wall, roof line, existing rooms, utilities, and how you will enter both houses.
- What’s allowed and what it costs — We check size limits for an attached unit, setbacks, fire separation, and how the addition sits on the lot. You get a realistic budget before plans start.
- Plans that match the house — We draw the addition so it works with the existing house: layout, structure, utilities, and finishes. You review that package before it goes to the city or county.
- Permits — We submit and work the comments with the building department. Work on the house does not start until the permit is in hand.
- Build the addition — Open the connection, foundation or slab as needed, framing, tie-in of roof and utilities, then finish inside and out. Inspections happen at the required stages.
- Final inspection and handoff — After the last inspection and certificate of occupancy, we walk the new unit with you and close out the job.

Cómo funciona un trabajo de ADU adosada
Una ADU adosada comparte muro o se une a la casa principal. El proceso es el mismo: usted llama, revisamos la propiedad y nos encargamos de la coordinación hasta el acabado.

- Qué se permite y cuánto cuesta — Revisamos los límites de tamaño para una unidad adosada, retiros, separación contra incendio y cómo queda la ampliación en el lote. Usted recibe un presupuesto realista antes de iniciar planos.
- Planos acordes a la casa — Dibujamos la ampliación para que funcione con la casa existente: distribución, estructura, instalaciones y acabados. Usted revisa ese paquete antes de presentarlo a la ciudad o al condado.
- Permisos — Presentamos el trámite y atendemos las observaciones del departamento de construcción. No se interviene la casa hasta tener el permiso en mano.
- Construcción de la ampliación — Se abre la conexión, se hace la cimentación o losa que corresponda, estructura, amarre de techo e instalaciones, y luego el acabado interior y exterior. Las inspecciones se hacen en las etapas que marca el reglamento.
- Inspección final y entrega — Después de la última inspección y del certificado de ocupación, recorremos la unidad nueva con usted y cerramos el trabajo.

How a detached ADU job works
A detached ADU is a separate unit on the same lot — usually in the yard, with its own foundation. You call, we walk the property, then we handle coordination through finish.
- Call and walk the yard — You call (760) 562-2773. We meet on site and look at the backyard, setbacks, access, shade, drainage, and where water, sewer, and power would run from the main house.
- What’s allowed and what it costs — We check whether a detached unit fits, how large it can be, required setbacks, and a realistic budget for site work plus the building. You get a clear picture before plans start.
- Plans for a separate unit — We draw the building, its place on the lot, and the utility runs. You review layout and finishes before anything is submitted to the city or county.
- Permits — We submit and work the comments with the building department. Ground is not broken until the permit is in hand.
- Build the separate unit — Site work and trenches, foundation, framing, utilities from the main service, then finish. You know who is on the job and what happens next. Inspections happen at the required stages.
- Final inspection and handoff — After the last inspection and certificate of occupancy, we walk the new unit with you and close out the job.

- Planos de una unidad aparte — Dibujamos el edificio, su ubicación en el lote y el trazo de las instalaciones. Usted revisa la distribución y los acabados antes de presentar nada a la ciudad o al condado.
- Permisos — Presentamos el trámite y atendemos las observaciones del departamento de construcción. No se rompe suelo hasta tener el permiso en mano.
- Construcción de la unidad independiente — Trabajo de sitio y zanjas, cimentación, estructura, instalaciones desde el servicio principal y luego el acabado. Usted sabe quién está en la obra y qué sigue. Las inspecciones se hacen en las etapas que marca el reglamento.

The company is led by Raul Alvarado, a General Contractor licensed since 1986, with approximately four decades of construction experience and industry knowledge.
